It's that time of year again when the Feed the Hungry Project (FTHP) prepares for the Dream Center's 9th Annual Formal All-Black Attire MLK Gala. The gala will be held on February 18, 2023, at Spooky Nook Champion Mill, Hamilton Ballroom, 601 N. B Street, Hamilton, OH 45013. The evening will commence at 5 pm. The MLK Gala is our largest fundraiser each year, and we hope you will join us in our continued efforts to provide a sanctuary for those in need. With the help of our selfless volunteers and in-kind donations, we can serve over two thousand nutritious meals per month for the underserved friends in our community. We also provide a 'Blessing Table,' which allows our partners to take home food, clothing, household items, and hygiene products.
This year's Keynote Speaker is Middletown High School's own Butch Carter. The former high school, Ohio Player of the Year, was highly recruited and experienced a stellar career at Indiana University before being drafted by the Los Angeles Lakers. He continued to play for six years in the NBA; his illustrious career includes playing with the Lakers, Indiana Pacers, New York Knicks, and Philadelphia 76ers.
Please join us as we celebrate Dr. King and continue the vision of Mrs. Louella Thompson.
